The Former Non-Commissioned Officer in the Kings Regiment found himself in difficult circumstances due to unforeseen matters.

A former Kings Regiment Soldier Terry Morley, an employment advisor for Groundwork’s a scheme funded by the Royal British Legion, referred Tony to the Housing Team at Step Forward Homes. Gary Metcalf also a former Kings Regiment Soldier made contact with Tony within 1 hour, met up on the 4th January 2018 and invited Tony to join the Step Forward Homes programme.

On the 22nd February 2018, Tony Moved into a brand New Home in Cottam, Preston, Lancashire a new development by Bellway Homes. A financial grant by CBRE Global Investors ensured the home was fully furnished and ready to move into.

Tony also starts work as a HGV Driver on the 8th March 2018.

I was delighted to be amongst former Soldiers again whom I was proud to serve alongside in Northern Ireland and throughout the World, to be honest I’m speechless and I now look forward to a bright new future, I nearly lost hope.
I can’t thank the team at Step Forward Homes enough.
